Michael Johnson is the Fab Engineering Director at InnovaFlex Foundry. He is responsible for fab and test engineering as well as equipment maintenance. He joined InnovaFlex (then known as dpiX) in 2009 and has worked as an etch process engineer, project manager and Etch-Thin Films area manager.
Prior to joining InnovaFlex, Michael gained experience in semiconductor manufacturing at high volume fabs for Atmel and Intel. He has extensive knowledge in vacuum and wet chemical processes and equipment.
Michael earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds several patents related to semiconductor manufacturing.
Michael and his wife, Melissa, have one child, Colton. He and Melissa enjoy spending their weekends attending Colton’s sports activities: baseball, basketball, and football. Michael is always looking to expand his culinary skills and is an avid hunter.
